Absolutely, this is one of the things that we love about camping. Every tent has its own fire pit, to cook on, warm yourselves with or just watch as the sun goes down.
FAQs
Do we bring our own logs?
No, every tent is provided with a complimentary box of logs, eco-firelighters & kindling. Should you need more logs, you can buy them onsite at £5 a bag, firelighters and kindling are £1 a bundle each. Charcoal/briquettes are NOT permitted as they burn at too high a temperature for the firepits/tripods.
Do you have electricity?
No, we are completely off grid with no Wi-Fi, mains gas, electricity or water. There are hot, gas powered showers, individual campfires/BBQ areas and a sheltered communal kitchen/washing up area with 2 gas hobs.
How do we keep food & drinks cool?
We can provide you with a cool box and frozen ice blocks. You can change these for fresh ones at The Shed as often as you like during your stay. We just ask that you return your warm ones to The Shed.
Can you provide a BBQ pack?
Yes. Whatever you would like for the BBQ we can arrange for delivery from Ian’s local family butchers. Need inspiration? Just ask.
Where do we leave the car?
You can drive up to the glamping field, but your car must stay in the parking area. Each tent has its own wheelbarrow for moving your things around.
Where are the toilets and showers located?
Each tent has its’ own eco friendly composting loo and shares a hot gas powered shower with 1 other tent. All within a very short walk from your tent.
